Whewww....I was worried I was the only one that did not get your costumes ;) Maybe the rock I live under is a little larger than I thought. John and I will be geeking out tonight :)
If only the show were still any good (I just couldn't get into the 1 year later thing... and don't get me started about who all the new model #s turned out to be)
I wish Halloween was a big thing here in New Zealand. Due to final exams down here the students dressed up less for it than they do on a normal weekend BOO!
Don't worry, only 1/100 people we ran into knew what we were.
That's OK -- we didn't dress up, but in handing out candy, I always try to figure out what people are. 'Round here, kids seem singularly uncreative -- the usual mishmash of ninjas, princesses, various animals (cats were big this year), Jedis, and various horror figures (had to bite my tongue to guess a little girl in a cute witch outfit was Sarah Palin...!) -- the only one I didn't get, and easily the most creative, was a bath mat.
-I'm approaching 30 and I am an undergraduate for the second time in my life. I love it.
-I like old stuff - like rocks and fossils - and the story of said old stuff.
-I'm fascinated by the biological history of the human race and the evolutionary reasons for our behavior.
-I love photography. I decided, recently, to do something about it and am the proud owner of a fancy digital SLR.
-I live in a tiny apartment with my partner(J), his sister(C)and her cat (Zeus), and my cat (Emily).
-I'm trying to live by these words: "You just have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves" - Mary Oliver. Some day, I'll get there.

Okay, I think you have out-dorked me AND Paul. Neither of us have a clue what your costumes are. Though you do look cool (and slightly unnerving).

Awesome!
Wow. Battlestar. I've never understood why their black overshirts are designed that way.
Yes, we out-dorked many. Don't worry, only 1/100 people we ran into knew what we were.
But I met some really cool Battlestar fans, so the unknown costume thingy turned out okay.
